In a child's eyes, the world is flat.
And there's a way of knowing.
Whether or not the Cat in the Hat
Has a way of showing.
In a child's eyes, people are kind,
Until the theory is proven wrong.
Evil is something they cannot find,
Because love is never gone.
In a child's eyes, there's no lust here;
For with that would come use.
That's not something a child would fear;
The concept is far too loose.
In a child's eyes, war is a monster;
That hides underneath their bed.
They have no reason to believe it, sir;
Mommy takes the idea right out of their head.
The world is such a simple place,
When seen through the eyes of someone small.
Wouldn't life have so much more grace,
If there was still a child in us all?

It rhymes without seeming contrived or unnatural, and overall it rocks in verbiage and language. Props.
Reminds me of my Zach man.

"You know that whole Love Thy Neighbor thing? I meant it." - God.
A child's mind is so simple and innocent... But our media is corrupting them at younger and younger ages. It's a shame.
